When I learned to eat without guilt, it actually made me more in tune with my body. It helped me enjoy the food and recognize when I was full. Sure, I do eat past fullness sometimes but it's something I'm learning after growing up being conditioned to finish my plate

Kinda chic to accept my midsize body, especially for so long I struggled with it

Struggled with beauty standards telling me to not love it. That I was too fat. Too big. Too short. Too tan. Too strong.

To be honest, it's not that everyday I'm completely accepting of my body. There are times I catch myself going back to old habits.

I recently saw an old picture of me with a friend and I couldn't help but notice myself comparing the width of my thighs against hers and noticing how much thicker mine are.

When I caught myself doing this, I realized this was an old habit that I used to have.

But when I went to a recent dance class and saw my thighs, yes, they are thicker than others, but they are the thighs that got me through that dance and made me feel confident dancing

So yeah it is kind of chic that we can love and accept our midsize bodies
