Dark Matter Series:
Call for Applications

The 2024/25 Dark Matter Residency Application window opens Tuesday, February 6th!

The Dark Matter Residency supports Chicago-based, emerging BIPOC performing artists. The Residency provides artists with a flexible, functional space, a platform, and a network to help develop their work and careers. Repeat applicants are welcome!

Apply starting Tuesday at https://elasticarts.org/darkmatter.

In addition, an information/Q&A session will be held
Friday, February 16th at 2PM on Zoom.

During the pandemic I kept thinking that I wanted to hear Marvin Tate do a version of the legendary Wesley Willis song “Rock N Roll McDonalds.” Well, in 2023, Steve Gaede and Sharon Udoh helped me bring it into existence! A tribute to a legend on the 60th anniversary of his arrival on this planet! We love, treasure and miss you Wesley! I hope you enjoy our effort! Rock on Chicago!
