This week we’re joined by Vaughn and Trevor from in another super special InterBrew episode! We chat about their 2021 album Take it From the Dead, the difficulties of coordinating a tour during the pandemic, how they have transformed their music to keep it fresh, and we bond over our mutual love of making tiktok references.

We talk about the history of the company, how tweeting at a musician enough times can get you a collaborative hot sauce and how we’re now best friends!

This week, we’re celebrating our 3rd birthday and Lindsey’s move to California by drinking a six-pack of beers from some of our favorite breweries from the Chicago suburbs. We’ve got a new episode to celebrate our favorite time of year, Halloween. This week we chat about the 60th anniversary of the Alfred Hitchcock film, Psycho, over Pumpkin Ale from Boulder, CO. Listen in as we talk about how this film created a new type of movie monster and influenced an entire genre of film.

It was awesome to finally go visit the brewpub since their re-opening! We really enjoyed the Jean Baptiste, its a wild yeast saison with a dry, lemongrass flavor. It’s super light and definitely was a great lunchtime beer.

On our beer vacation, we made a stop at to enjoy their shaded patio and all of our favorite beers. We’ve always loved Denver Beer Co for their fun flavor additions to their extremely solid beer selections. Our favorite beers were some of their classic staples: the Pretzel Assassin Lager, Incredible Pedal IPA, Graham Cracker Porter, and Raspberry Princess Yum Yum Kolsch. Definitely a place you don’t want to miss out on when taking the trip to Denver.

Before our vacation, we were able to drop in to for their opening weekend. This taproom has a beautifully whimsical feel with the beers, cocktails and bites to match. Ørkenoy has a series of super unique flavors in their beer that definitely make them a standout in the city. We can’t wait to make a trip back to get some more of the Stupendous Gustav guava and prickly pear sour. With their location being right off of the 606, we’re looking forward to spending more time in the taproom!

On the annual Denver beer vacation, has always been one of our favorites! It’s the go-to spot to kick off your day drinking. Traveling as a group of 4 for the first time, we were able to try everything on the menu. Our favorites were the Antidote IPA, New Wave Berliner Weisse, and the Dear You saison.
