Kilauea is a recently crowdfunded game that is a really solid production with a highly interactive and tactical game with shared incentives. It’s very tense as the rules and goals of everyone are simple and apparent - it’s easy to mess with the goals of others and truly play the players at the table and not against the game itself. The rules get out of the way fast and you are focused on a game of tempo and timing. Really looking forward to more plays!

Brick & Mortar from games is such a treat when it gets to the table. It’s a wonderfully accessible economic game that has great interaction. I particularly love the mechanism where you are choosing two cards that can either be used to supply the market with goods or create demand. The game shines when there is an imbalance between what the players can buy and sell. Really unique and interactive shared ecosystem. Have you tried it?

Two of my favorite old weird German games - Auf Teufel Komm Raus: the greatest push your luck / gambling game around and Vernissage: a weird and wild stock game themed around artists (and mostly pushing their values down from scandals and bad reviews). Both games are easy to teach and always have lots of laughs.

Got another chance to ply the upcoming title Bagged & Boarded. This one is gorgeous and absolutely wonderfully thematic rummy-like, economic, interesting action programming and just plain fun. Cannot wait to back this one once it comes to crowdfunding.
