Lowenherz hits the table again! This game has been a hit with everyone who has played it. A masterful design from Klaus Tueber (Catan). Each play more and more layers are revealed. The duels. The paying other people for actions. It’s an amazing game. The downside is that it’s pretty much only a 4p game for me. The tension that comes from at least one player not taking an action makes the game sing. There are also some great moments when a player will be the third person into an action to force a duel and two unhappy players. Great stuff. Hot Streak, Just One, Nana, Cash a Catch also hit the table this week.

Lowenherz - a wonderfully tense game from the designer of a little known game (Catan). This is probably his real masterpiece IMO. Also Mogul and that bowl hit the table again. Moments of tension and interesting decisions are core to all the games I love these days. Lots of those have a lot of player interaction. So lucky to have such a wonderful gaming group!
