Hello hello and welcome back my friends, recently I was on Reddit and left a comment on r/libertarian about how they shouldn't hate the police for enforcing the law, they should be upset with the law makers for creating the laws. It was all rather mundane stuff, some people questioned the rational but at the end of the day all but one person and I got on the same page. This person kept changing their point of view, picking out every little detail and just generally being very intellectually dishonest. I started to wonder what a person like this is like, why would they spend so much time just trying to argue for the sake of arguing. I took a deep dive into that person's reddit history and that got creepy fast. This person has only had that account for 5 months and during that time he left 10,000 comments, thats 67 comments a day! Sometimes it would spend 8 to 10 hours leaving comments and interestingly he would claim to be a liberal in some subreddits, others he was a libertarian and yet others he went down disturbingly frantic paths of thought that no one could understand. This kid, from Chicago, had made it his life goal to get under peoples skin and for the first time ever I had empathy for an internet troll! How much trauma, pain and suffering did this pour soul have to endure to want to spend that much of his life trolling others? That is all to say, when you encounter an internet troll, understand they are sad, lonely, cowardly and often severely traumatized people. Don't respond and if you do, let them know you know how much pain they must be in, they will leave you alone and you haven't added fuel to the fire in their souls! That is your dose of logic, have yourselves a great evening and stay out of jail!
