Jesse Havok Official page for the work of Jesse "Havok" Mount I am a Photographer first and a Graphic Designer second. I'm not one of those fortunate kind.

One that knew what they wanted to be when they were growing up. Most photographers I meet seem to have had a camera in thier hands since they left the womb. I never even liked taking snapshots. I started out working with graphic artwork and somehow photography sort of snuck itself onto my plate. I am very glad it did. I am an improvisational, visual, creative, and problem solving photographer. Com

bining the elements of design and photography to create images with impact. To me, a photograph should be something more then what the human eye generally sees or that the human mind can even perceive from something that is in motion. I love to reveal the things that most do not see or simply over look. Exposing details, freezing a moment in time, or simply using dramatic lighting. Art and Science have always held my interest. I see photography is a mere combination of the two. It starts with an artistic vision, and then is the vision pulled off with scientific techniques. The medium is a perfect one for me.

I haven't decided if I want to make the backbone mod to the new guy yet, but it's real tempting. I know it would be worth it. It's just a nerve racking process.

More new gear. This will enable me to insure I have proper focus with video as well as record longer clips at a higher, less compressed rate. I can use it in tandom with my wireless follow focus system for thinks like jib shots.

That was one of the most difficult and frustrating things I have ever done, but it is complete. Sorta. I lost one of the internal screws and stripped the head of another, so it's not fully seated. It's working for now. Now for some lens tests. I can't wait to see what that f/1.0 lens can do.

That's an old German 250mm lens. I have to figure out how to adapt it, but it would have a 1000mm focal length equivalent on a 2/3 sensor on the yi 4k!
