🎶 Discover the soundscape that shaped a nation’s wind band legacy! 🇨🇦✨

We sat down with Dr. Darrin Oehlerking, editor of Winds of the North, to explore the voices, traditions, and innovations that define Canada’s wind band community. From Indigenous collaborations and French-Canadian perspectives to a century-long history of education, artistry, and repertoire, this landmark resource reveals a rich musical heritage that deserves to be seen, heard, and celebrated.

With 85 detailed repertoire guides for developing through advanced bands, conductors and educators gain invaluable insight into Canadian composers, stylistic considerations, cultural context, and practical teaching tools—all through a forward-thinking, twenty-first-century lens.
