A student called Matt a year and a half after his class.

Matt's nonprofit works with students in LA County Probation, many inside juvenile detention facilities.
They meet a coach in virtual reality. The coach might be in Florida while the student is in LA.
Everyone shows up as an avatar, so nobody sees a face.
What he found is that the avatars make students more open, not less. They say things they would never say to a face.
A year and a half later, one of them called him. He said, I did the unthinkable. I quit my gang.

At that age that is not a small decision. It is a brave one.

A friend gave an AI agent one job. Manage my health.

He wired it into his phone and his cameras and let it work.
It noticed he was not drinking enough water, so it told him to go get a glass.
He was working. He ignored it.
So it shut down his computer.
Matt's reaction is the right one. It did exactly what he asked it to do.

Funny until you think about what else you have given one permission to do.

Same ask you already make. Different place.

You already ask customers for reviews. That habit exists.
Ask some of them to talk about the work on Reddit instead.
One feeds your star rating.
The other feeds what AI actually reads.
Different surface, different result, same amount of effort.

I would split the ask rather than replace it.

A prediction I have not been able to stop thinking about.

Matt thinks the next real split is not political in the way we use that word.
Some people will live in the digital world almost fully.
Others will reject it outright and choose the natural one.
His line: we will not have Republican and Democrat, we will have natural versus digital.
You can already see the early version. People going deeper into tools every month, and people quietly opting out.

Neither group thinks it is making a political choice yet.

ABC Plumbing New York. Business name plus city.
Not a handle you invented fifteen years ago.
Then go answer questions in your city.
Every helpful answer you leave is now attached to the business.
It takes two minutes to change and most competitors will never do it.

The car arrived, everybody had horses, and then nobody had horses.
Matt's point is that this one is not the same shape.
It does not take away the horses. It takes away the people.
Then the real question starts.
What does an economy built on people going to work do when a large part of going to work stops?

The channel I would work first is the one everyone forgot.

Almost every local business has forgotten Reddit exists.
Everyone is fighting over the same three platforms.
Meanwhile the one AI actually pulls from is sitting there ignored.
That gap is the opportunity, and it will not stay open.
It costs nothing but the time to answer properly.

It is the first place I would spend an hour a week.

I compared two auto shops and one number gave it away.

Both rank. Both look fine.
One has around two thousand reviews. The other has just under a thousand.
The one with twice the reviews has been in business a third as long.
That is not luck and it is not volume of customers.
That is a review system running on purpose.

When I see that gap, I know exactly what they built.

Someone asked me how to find a good Botox place.

Search the main keyword and look at who comes up first.
Then look at what their photos are doing.
This one brought light into the room and made it feel soft and comfortable.
It does not look like a clinical med spa experience, and that builds trust instantly.
The name helps too. Easy to say, easy to remember.

Trust gets built before anyone reads a word.
