price8records Jonesboro's finest since 1993 Price8records was established by a group of friends in Jonesboro, Arkansas in the '90s. Everyone wanted to be in a band.

Like many small towns before the Internet explosion, there was nothing to do, and very little exposure to new and exciting music. Various members of Price8records bonded over enjoyment of similar bands and a collective sense of humor that can best be described as "fu***ng funny." Everyone also played guitar. Eventually, a few people wised up and began playing bass and/or drums. Realizing that the

guitar-to-other instruments ratio was still off, it eventually dawned on them that they could form different bands depending on who was available at a given time. This decisions proved fortuitous, as these different combinations began to develop their own distinct and unique sounds. As these sounds grew, so too did the ambitions of Price8records. It was these ambitions that would prove to be Price8records' downfall. One day, a man in black appeared, and promised the members of Price8records unbounded success. Seduced by the idea of touring with bands they idolized and working tube amps, Price8records did the man in black's bidding, engaging in various nefarious activities that included ritual human sacrifice that eventually split the group apart. Or everybody moved around during and after college and started living adult lives. It's really a distinction without a difference, if you think about it. Ultimately, after realizing that adulthood sucked, Price8records has reconstituted itself, determined to track down the man in black and seek revenge. Or release some of its older music to a wider audience and start making new music again. Possibly both.

The Price 8 Wiki is being built. I usually work on it bout 30 minutes to an hour a day.

I'll open it up for editing by everyone as soon as I get what I call a "foundation" established. By that I mean The way it looks and is organized.

I figure I needed to create some sort of order for before multiple started going at it.
