Pooh Shiesty has strengthened his legal team by hiring John M. Helms Jr., a veteran Dallas criminal defense attorney and former federal prosecutor. Helms says he never lost a trial or appeal while serving as an Assistant U.S. Attorney.

Shiesty is facing serious federal kidnapping and robbery charges related to an alleged incident involving Gucci Mane. Prosecutors claim the rapper and several others forced Gucci to sign paperwork releasing Shiesty from his record deal before stealing jewelry, watches and cash.

Helms disputes the government’s version of events and says Shiesty’s side of the story will be “significantly different.” Shiesty remains in custody while awaiting trial.

in 2005, Edgar Ray Killen, sentenced to 60 years in prison for the 1964 killings of three civil rights workers in Mississippi, was freed on an appeal bond after a hearing in which he swore he was permanently confined to his wheelchair.

Less than a month later, a deputy sheriff saw Killen walking around, filling up his truck with gas “with no problem.” After a hearing, Circuit Judge Marcus Gordon ordered Killen back to prison, saying he believed a fraud had been committed against the court.

Social media creator Damon Darling, known for helping strangers by paying for their groceries and other purchases, has officially been banned for life from Walmart.

The ban doesn’t stop at Walmart — he is no longer allowed inside any Walmart or Sam’s Club location, or Murphy USA gas stations.

Darling has built a massive following online through videos showing him surprising everyday people with acts of generosity, including covering grocery bills.

Now, he says those trips to Walmart have officially come to an end💔
