Who would’ve thought the most dangerous intersection in Chicago wasn’t an intersection at all?

It’s an alley.

Two cars enter from opposite directions. Nobody moves.

Not because backing up is difficult.

Because backing up feels like admitting you were wrong.

So two Chicagoans sit in a silent standoff behind a row of garages waiting for the other person to surrender.
