Temp Wishes is the new project from Josh Chicoine (The M's, Cloudbirds, Cult Canyon), Edward Anderson (The 1900s, Mazes), Colby Starck (Mar Caribe, Bobby Conn), and Glenn Rischke (A.M. Slingers, Bora Bora, Arks).

It is lo-fi and the songs are concise with sticky melodies, harmonies, and grooves. "Flash Fantasy" is the first single released from their forthcoming LP.

"The band's first-ever show will be at the Hungry Brain in Chicago on Friday, June 5. ["Flash Fantasy"] has a gentle laid back feel where the mood shifts from dark to light vibes without unsettling the listener and the arrangement could be from an early seventies folk rock band..."

Temp Wishes w/ Quasar Wut-Wut at Hungry Brain this Friday, June 5!

Josh Chicoine’s (The M’s, Cult Canyon) newest band Temp Wishes also features Edward Anderson (The 1900s, Mazes), Colby Starck (Mar Caribe, Bobby Conn), and Glenn Rischke (A.M. Slingers, Bora Bora, Arks). Their debut single (and accompanying music video) is “Flash Fantasy,” a psych pop nugget with sticky melodies.

Quasar Wut-Wut’s path to indie art-pop eclecticism started in a basement in Metro Detroit in the early 1990s — a band of 15 year-olds trying to sound like their heroes Robert Smith, Johnny Marr and Black Francis without being too obvious. Calendar year 2026 finds the band putting the finishing touches on an alternate reality stock music library/video series called “HottFaxx” and recording the principle tracks for an untitled follow-up to 2019’s 'Digesting Mirror' LP.
