Where’s the space?
So I’ve been slowly changing out the old wire nuts for alumicons on all the outlets and switch’s in the house. A lot of aluminum on copper only devices. The problem I run into a lot is shoving everything back in. Any tips on best way to do this?

Should you get 110v even when your town runs on solar at night?
TLDR. Town uses solar as much as they can and that leaves voltage low. My appliances need at neares 110v to function properly, as they obviously dont, hence why im making this post.

Will a voltage regular help this issue? If so what do you guys recommend?

What is this wire i dug up?
I think its cat 3 so just old landlines. Nothing in the house isnt working or turned off so I assume it was a dead line but I want to be sure. Got 2 pair, blue, blue+white, orange and orange+white with what looks like copper armor under a sheath.

Water heater breaker disagreement
Deleted the previous post because I left a name visible. I have an electrician, who is a great guy but I think he is wrong on this point. I think that water heaters less than a certain amount (120 gallons?) are considered continuous and therefore require 125% amp breaker. This would make a 40 gallon WH need a 25 or 30 amp breaker. I'm just double checking because I like the guy and don't want to burn this bridge.

Also, while doing this I realized that 30 amp breakers require 10g wires. But the 3 WH I've replaced all had 12g wires hooked up to a 30 amp breaker. Someone somewhere (on reddit) said that it's technically to code if the ambient temp is "cool enough". Is that right?

Does this mean each receptacle is 5.1 amps on the circuit? Can I install 3 of these on a 15 amp breaker?

I’ve never had exposure to this kind of stuff so am learning for obvious reasons. I thought the first switch being active would allow all 3 to be lit because the lines can follow a path between the battery and bulbs back to the battery without ever hitting a switch that’s closed. Idk what the nodes it’s talking about are or what it means.
