He**in Chic’s new single “We Live In Clouds” is a post punk odyssey into droning melodies and psychedelia. Consisting of Michael Heringhaus on guitars and vocals, and Aaron Joseph on drums, this two piece has a grasp on songwriting that not only fits the name of the band, but also offers something more. It has an aspect of melancholia to it that is only underlined by the catchiness of the melody.
It was recorded at Two States Audio by Rob Majchrowski. See them play this saturday at Young Camelot with ONO. Let’s get weird.
