My soul dog is 10 years old 🐾🎉 Wishing Gizmo (aka the best dog in all the land) the happiest of birthdays. A decade ago I couldn’t have imagined just how much this little pup with little legs could change my life. He’s the sweetest, goofiest animal that makes every person he meets smile a little bigger. He makes every day better no matter what. 💗

RUN to see Burnout Paradise while you still can 🏃‍♀️ A show full of treadmills to perform the ordinary (and extraordinary) truly can makes you feel seen. This hysterical, high-energy off broadway show reminds us all how much we endure daily. And it’s exhausting. We were all exhausted just watching them in the best way. 😂

First run in Central Park with my dog was so fun 🏃‍♀️🐾 When moving to New York, running here was one of the things I looked forward to. It was challenging with the hills (yes, Chicago was SO flat!) but the scenery is beautiful. There’s never any shame in slowing down! Also, I couldn’t believe the amount of runners out there. Gizmo and I both have many more workouts ahead of us here.

The one where we moved to New York 🗽 April was a pretty big deal over here. We packed up our life in Chicago and moved to NYC. It still doesn’t feel real. ✨

What you don’t see on the gram? The months of hard work behind the scenes in making this happen. It was filled with many tough decisions and lots of logistics. The memories and people we’ve said “see ya later” to. The what ifs of this move. The dozens of boxes packed and unpacked.

I truly I believe this will make us stronger and let us live such a beautiful new chapter of life. It’s been pretty amazing so far. 🥹

New (York) City. New Routine. 🏃‍♀️ Let’s find the fun in moving our bodies again. Yes, starting over even after completing my first marathon is scary. And that’s okay! I can’t wait to see what NYC has in store for new fitness outlets — running, walking, cycling, dancing…we shall see 👀 Time to get out of my comfort zone and explore fully what I can do!

Fell in love with Central Park 💕🌸 My escape from box city and building furniture this past week has been frolicking through our stunning backyard. From off leash morning walks with Gizmo to chasing cherry blossoms to soaking in so many beautiful views to catching up with old friends…it’s been perfect. I can’t wait to explore even more and make so many memories here. 🥹
