Rocky was failed by humans and had a very rough start in life. He's been with a professional trainer for 60+ days and had 12+weeks of additional training but his confidence is still growing. Rocky needs to be in a home without small children and with adults who understand he needs stability and consistency to thrive and flourish. In return you'll get a new best friend and protector who is content accompanying you on trips and outings or just laying on the couch and snuggling. I was adopted on Feb 05, 2024!

Owner surrenders often have a harder time at the shelter. Taken straight from their home, dropped off by their owner, and having to quickly adjust to the loud, hectic shelter. It’s not easy. Mabel is having a hard time. And we don’t blame her, one bit. Please come and visit her. And all of the other cats at the shelter. They might not “show well”, meaning they might not be outgoing or engaging. They are stuck in a cage. In a scary place. But once they get out, have time to decompress, they start to blossom. And it’s magical. 💫
