To be silent is to be complicit and we want to use this platform for good.

Black lives matter. George Floyd’s life matters. Breonna Taylor’s life matters. Ahmaud Arbery’s life matters. The list goes on.

Like everyone else, we are frustrated. We are aching. We want justice.

Our hearts go out to the Black lives that were taken which can never be brought back. We feel so small in such a big movement. but we know we’re not alone in this, and that gives us so much power.

We are strong. We are one.

We are able to vocalize the injustices that exist and permeate across every aspect of America. We are educated and able to fight for equality, for justice to be served and strive for a systemic reform.

Let’s not forget this fight. Let’s use this momentum and continue to advocate, donate, educate, and become one collective to show that we have the power to change, and that we will.

Happy Lunar New Year! 🧧 Our top 3 LNY superstitions we’ve lived by:

🍭 𝗘𝗔𝗧 𝗦𝗪𝗘𝗘𝗧𝗦- overindulge in sweets so that your upcoming year is even sweeter than the last!

🧹 𝗡𝗢 𝗖𝗟𝗘𝗔𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗚- take a pause from cleaning (sweeping, trash runs) because you don’t want to ‘sweep out your luck’

🛋 𝗡𝗢 𝗕𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗞𝗜𝗡𝗚- don’t break anything, or you’ll have a break your wealth. This one gives me () major PTSD. 😰It was at least 15 years ago on LNY eve. I flung my arm in my sleep, conveniently into where the floor lamp was. I woke up to the sound of glass shattering, and my dad storming in my room to yell at me and how I ruined the wealth of our family for the year. I have not owned a floor lamp since. LOL
