My hubby and I hired a babysitter for our two kids as we're always slammed with work. Everything's been fine until yesterday...I walk in at 6 p.m., and there she is with her hair all wet! She says she had to shower because my kid spilled milk on her.
But here's where it gets totally weird — my husband, who's supposed to be at work then, is right there at home! My gut tells me something is totally wrong. So, the next day, I dug out this old nanny cam we had and secretly set it up in the living room before I headed to work.
Not even an hour later, I checked the cam to see MY HUSBAND, who'd left for work, sneaking in the door. But what I saw next was not at all what I was afraid to see.⬇️

My wife and I had just left the doctor’s office, over the moon after hearing our baby’s heartbeat for the first time. We were on cloud nine… until we got to my car.
Scrawled across the driver’s side door in big letters: "Hope She Was Worth It."
I stopped cold. My wife did too. My stomach dropped.
“What the hell?” I muttered, heart pounding.
Emily just stared at it, then at me.
“Emily, I swear on everything—I’ve never cheated!”
She didn’t yell. Didn’t accuse. But the silence was worse.
“I didn’t write it,” she finally said, voice shaky. “So who did? And why?”
She called her mom to pick her up. Watching her leave with tears in her eyes was like a knife to the gut. I was left standing there—alone, confused, staring at those words.
That evening, I was scrubbing them off my car, angry, heartbroken, and lost, when I heard footsteps behind me.
“Don’t bother thanking me,” a familiar voice said. “You’re welcome.”I turned and froze. ⬇️

My sister Megan and I inherited our grandparents' old house. Megan wanted to sell it fast and didn't even want to step foot in there again. We sold it, no repairs, nothing. A couple of weeks later, I get this weird text from the new owners: "Thanks for the extra keys! But what does #1135 mean?" I was like, what? I didn't leave any keys.

I asked them where they found them, and they said, "In a kitchen drawer. None of the locks match, though." That's when it got strange — Megan had cleared out the kitchen, not me. I asked her about it, and she immediately freaked out: "Tell them to get out. NOW."

My heart was racing. I asked the new owners to step outside, and thankfully, they already had. I called Megan, and she finally told me, "It's Grandpa's code for the basement."

I felt a chill run down my spine.

"Meg... there's NO BASEMENT DOOR in that house."

"I know," she replied. "BUT THERE USED TO BE."

My heart DROPPED. "What do you mean?"

Megan was silent for a moment before she finally said, ⬇️
