💔 We’re heartbroken to hear of Glen Hansard’s untimely passing.💔
Glen was a wonderful human being. He was wildly talented, of course, but he was also incredibly warm, compassionate, and kind. Glen was an early champion of Adventure Sandwich, a gift that we are forever grateful for. Way back in 2012, Lily & Charlie were lucky enough to meet Glen backstage at The Hideout Block Party, and after one enthusiastic conversation about this little kids’ show we were developing, he offered to film a music video with us for a silly song he’d written about bananas. 🍌🤩🍌 One year later, we got to do just that; we collaborated on the “Banana Man” video with him, and it was no surprise that he was an absolute delight to work with. Another year later, he invited us to perform with him on the kids’ stage at Lollapalooza, yet another generous gift from that wonderful human. We’re thankful for the bit of time we got to spend with him, and are sending lots of love to his family and all those mourning Glen 🧡💛🧡💛🧡
