So many compliments on my hair during my UK trip and I’m not gatekeeping! Here’s why going to tell you exactly why — .

First, Extensions. Got them before I left and I have zero regrets. Protective, low maintenance, and they gave me one less thing to think about while I was busy living.

But even extensions need the right products on the road.

threw a fit on saturday. zero tantrums. all compliments. 😂

white eyelet top, leopard mules — and these barrel leg culottes that have absolutely no idea how much work they’re about to do this summer 🫣

because can we talk about this shape for a second? the barrel leg culotte is it. not too wide, not too fitted, hits at just the right place — and somehow makes every top look intentional. I am obsessed and I will not be taking questions.

fair warning: culottes are going to be on heavy rotation around here. I’ve also added different culotte styles and the cutest sandals to pair with them in my shop. you’ve been advised. 😂🌸

burgundy and olive green. just trust me. 😂

the color combo that surprised even me — burgundy sweater, olive wide leg parachute pants, and purple sneakers that somehow tied the whole thing together perfectly.

the rule I live by: if the colors exist in the same season of nature, they work together. burgundy and olive are both that fall-into-spring energy and once you see it you can’t unsee it.

haitian heritage month at chicago city hall. 🇭🇹

with mayor brandon johnson and joined by the embassies of canada, france, and colombia.
this one felt like more than a moment — it felt like recognition. culture deserves its flowers.

red is a neutral and I have been saying this for years 😂

hear me out — when you treat red like you treat camel or navy, everything changes. it pairs with cream, it pairs with navy without trying. it’s not a statement color. it’s just another tool in the formula.

red retro zip-up, cream tee peeking underneath, navy trousers, and red on red on red sneakers that had absolutely no business working this well 😭

this is the color pop formula in action. one bold piece, everything else stays grounded. save this for the next time someone tells you red is too much.

it’s never too much. 🌸

welcome to the most chaotic dressing season of the year: it’s too warm for a coat, too unpredictable for a tank, and somehow you still have to look cute?? yeah. we’re figuring this out together.

this is what I call the in-between outfit — layers that can go on and off, a color that says “I made a decision today,” and enough denim to solve any temperature emergency 😂

dark denim oversized jacket (throw it in your bag when it warms up), light denim shirt, the staple white tee, and these red track pants that have been getting more compliments than I deserve.
