Over an hour of pure heat that will get your chestnuts roasting. This mix hits like an icy snowball straight to the face. This month's guest mix features a phenom, Greg Venezia , hailing from another beautiful music city, New York, New York. With releases on labels such as Skream's "Of Unsound Mind" and now label boss of his own creation (Volante Records) he has been making music since a very young age. "Greg Venezia is an upcoming DJ and producer whose productions and sets are characterized by dark, melodic soundscapes that blur the lines of deep house, progressive electronica, and techno. Based out of New York City, his passion for musical exploration has lead him to develop an engaging sound that has been steadily gaining the attention of artists and tastemakers worldwide. A classically trained musician, Greg began his musical journey at the age of three and later studied performance at The Cleveland Institute of Music. Leveraging his classical background, Greg has spent the past several years immersed in electronic music, furthering his boundaries and expanding his creative repertoire. After gaining the attention of Skream, Greg became an addition to the Of Unsound Mind label, with several EPs and remixes due to be released in the coming year. We are getting a little spooky with this one (Tis the season) I'm sure everyone is jonesin to get their trick or treat on, and this is our spicy treat to you. Kwal, hailing from Chicago, has been a name on a number of our local venues. Having played at Spybar, Estate, and more. We LOVE his style. With releases on labels such as Box Of Cats, Daylight Robbery Records, and Swerve Digital he continues to expand his music as well as his production skill. Check out his own label at Murk City Demos. Friday August 3rd 2018,

The intense heat wave in the city has fazed away. The August sun shines down with a peaceful temperature. The beaches are poppin, the tourist are…… always here, and the dogs are barking. Many brews outside on rooftops or at Big Star. The local neighborhoods having their annual functions. This is a mix to celebrate that. The mix is the exact same. What can we say? Summer time chi is in full effect. We thought it was time some of the selectors curate a mix of their favorite tracks for the heat. Temperatures here have been almost as hot as this mix. Fourth of July has come and gone - Happy Birthday America. We have been eating a bunch of giardiniera, hope you are as well. Brats, Hot Dogs, Pizza, Beef Sandwiches, Chicken, anything you could be grilling or making could use a tad of hot g.

A co-founder / creator of the Afterlife brand which has made waves since it's first run at Grand Bar(now HQ'd at The Mid). We are speaking of the very talented Tsunami.
