As part of our ongoing branding and packaging design with Tom’s Town Distilling, our next challenge was to help the brand become a contender in the hot canned cocktails market. Building upon the foundation of Tom’s Town’s lovely Gins and Vodkas, we brought to life the adventurous cocktail concoctions of: Grapefruit & Clove, Strawberry & Mint, Elderfower & Lime, and Lemon with Barrel Aged Gin. The People Are Thirsty and now they can take a portable mixologist in a can wherever the need strikes.

It was nice seeing the Kansas City Chiefs rally to overcome the Browns in their season opener this past Sunday—that’s something we and our friends at Tom's Town Distilling Co. can toast! As part of our ongoing design collaboration with Tom’s Town Distilling we designed their Kansas City Chiefs Official Gin packaging. A come-back deficit win in this AFC divisional rematch with the Browns is an auspicious start for Chiefs. Satellite celebrates with Kansas City.

We produced the branding strategy & design for cannabis start-up, Camberwell, an integrated farm and product manufacturer out of Columbia Basin, OR. We realized that most CBD brands focus on health benefits to oneself—personal pain or anxiety relief. But we wanted to know the answer to a more profound question: why are we seeking to feel better, is it just for ourselves? The deeper answer was so we can be more capable and present with our friends, families, colleagues, and loves. Camberwell helps you put your best foot forward, so we can be better together. When we take care of ourselves, we make great co-conspirators.

A boutique resort on a gently rising hill overlooking Patagonia’s Nahuel Huapi Lake, the Villa Beluno hotel in Argentina bares witness to Bariloche’s Alpine grandeur. Satellite Office with Kevin Cantrell Studio developed the naming, brand strategy, identity system, website, and brand pull-through for the hotel, restaurants & bar.

Why Villa Beluno? Well…

We Belong Here.

We remember. We remember the awe of white-capped, cathedral peaks towering. We remember the curious breath of alpine air ghosting our cheeks, and our simple glee as we skip stones across the quiet azure of the lake at Bariloche.

We recall a dinner enveloped in the swirling crackle of an oak-fired Argentinian steak whose savory epiphany is quelled by the flooding riot of a jammy Malbec. And skipping dessert, we walk hand in hand with whispers exchanged and kisses stolen under a breathless firmament.

We don’t come to Villa Beluno to escape, we come to remember.

Another win for our friends over at Star Union Spirits! All the Rums and Oak Aged Brandies in the Star Union Spirit portfolio won medals at the 2021 San Francisco World Spirit Competition. The Star Union Spirits that were honored in the competition are as follows; Double Gold Medal Winners: Navy Strength Dark Rum and Reserve Rum. Gold Medal Winner: Rested Agave. Silver Medal Winners: Aged Apple Brandy, Single Barrel Cherry Brandy, Single Barrel Immature Brandy, Silver Rum and Single Barrel 2 Year Gold Rum.

Raleigh-based creative video company Myriad desired a more contemporary, design-forward brand to compete nationally as a creative video company. Together with designer Graham Clifford, we helped them "Fast Forward" to partner with companies seeking to make a difference. To express their work’s impact in their new identity, we replaced the “i” in their name with the most dramatic character in our type toolbox: the exclamation mark. With some vivid magenta and multi-font animation within a classic solid san serif structure, we conveyed the transformative creativity they bring to each project – as well as giving a nod to the word’s literal meaning.
