There are 33 days left in 2025. I’d like to earmark this day with the debut of my BCCO New Faces Mix. You can listen to it on SoundCloud / link in my bio. One hour of hardgroove techno with what I truly believe is a showcase of how my skill and sound have evolved. To be one of 30 chosen out of 1200+ applicants is insane 😵‍💫 In the spirit of gratitude this holiday season id like to look back on some milestones this past year:

1) my first international gig at ARCAN in Vietnam supporting my Melbourne homie PIRACY FOR HIRE
2) being invited by FORMAT to close SMARTBAR for MARRØN
3) many many REDLINE and other underground gigs
4) playing my first MOVEMENT afters at LELAND CITY CLUB
5) being invited to play my first out of state for PROPER TECHNO and my homie DJ IV
6) playing the springtime EDM Chicago showcase
7) performing at ADE for the F2F seedj competition
8) Chicago Music Nexus, Chicago Electronic Music Conference, and Amsterdam Dance Event
9) my Radius / Cermak Hall debut opening for Lars Huismann and Alignment

10) not pictured - the countless hours I spent practicing at home, dm-ing people to secure gigs, learning to advocate for myself and check my self doubt - all while finding time to see all the DJs I want and support all my friends in every little way possible … for no motive other than to spread love and uplift my community. Yes, I am EXTREMELY proud of that part more than anything (because it means I found my people)

This is a less poetic recap post I’ve been wanting to share with photos and BTS - The prep leading up to this moment involved a lot of moving parts. My goal was to play an opening set that moved from deeper techno cuts to harder warehouse tracks to slowly build the energy. Yes this was just an opening set; but still a huge moment in my personal life. It was a huge joy to see the people so responsive to the selection. 🫶 Also, rare appearance by my big sister who had to make t shirts with my baby photo on them 😂

We lost some of the audio due to technical difficulties, but can find the first seventy or so mins of my mix on YouTube today at 10:30AM…link in bio!

Just a boy telling his story through music…

hard groove, hard bounce, hard dance - I do it all; don’t ever let anyone put you in a box. A lot of people told me “full circle moment” this night; and the realest full circle moment is that I grew up in my dad’s import warehouse about a mile away from here. Fate is not without a sense of irony. You just had to be there. Bliss doesn’t come close to describing it ❤️ let’s dance again soon.
