Kanye West is at Lil Durk’s trial today showing support

Lyndell DeYoung, 35, is accused of masterminding the 2024 murder of U.S. Postal Service letter carrier Octavia Redmond.

She was shot multiple times on July 19, 2024, while walking her delivery route in the 12100 block of South Harvard Avenue (West Pullman neighborhood).

Prosecutors allege that DeYoung orchestrated the ex*****on. Upon his arrest, DeYoung gave a statement detailing the plot. He allegedly threatened the life of a 15-year-old boy, ordering him to kill Redmond or face death himself.

Prior Convictions: The 15-year-old shooter was arrested in Iowa in October 2024. He pleaded guilty and was sentenced in July 2026 to five years in juvenile detention, the maximum allowed under Illinois juvenile law.

Offender was arrested by members of the Chicago Police Department and the U.S. Marshals Great Lakes Regional Fugitive Task Force on August 24, 2026, in the 500 block of E. 80th St.

He was identified as an offender who participated in the murder of a 48-year-old female victim, who was fatally shot on July 19, 2024, in the 12100 block of S. Harvard Ave.

The offender was placed into custody and charged accordingly. No additional information is available at this time.

Court has just ended for the day in the trial of Lil Durk.

OTF JAM, also Kacey Hester, continued testifying about his involvement the murder of Saviay’a Robinson.

Jam said he and Asa Houston traveled to Ho***rs after landing in San Diego to wait for the rest of the group. He testified “Boonie” called him and informed him of the plan to kill Quando Rondo, and he alleged Durk was on a separate phone during this time, and his voice could be heard in the distance.

Jam testified he was told Durk did not want anyone coming to Los Angeles to contact him.

Jam testified Durk was on FaceTime with Wilson, also DeDe, when the group took a van from San Diego to Los Angeles. Wilson allegedly referred to the group, according to Jam, as “navy seals” while speaking with Durk.

He testified that a w**d dealer connected to Quando Rondo informed “Doodie Lo” that Rondo would be in Los Angeles and purchasing w**d. The plan, according to Jam, was to shoot Rondo at his hotel while he was coming out to get the w**d.

When Rondo and others came outside on the night of Aug. 18, Jam testified that the area was “too hot” with a lot of police activity. The plan was abandoned until the next day, Jam testified. His testimony ended at the hotel where the group stayed for the night. His testimony for the prosecution will continue tomorrow. Defense will have the chance to cross examine this witness.

Cooperating witnesses reportedly revealed in Lil Durk’s murder-for-hire trial include OTF Jam and two men who were allegedly hired by Durk to kill Quando Rondo.

The first day of the Chicago rapper's highly anticipated trial is underway in Los Angeles. On Monday (Aug. 24), the prosecution confirmed that multiple people in Durk's inner circle will testify against him and his codefendants David Lindsey and DeAndre Wilson, according to I'm Not a Lawyer But... creator Melanie Goolsby, who was present for Monday's hearing. Those cooperating witnesses include long-rumored informant Kacey "OTF Jam" Hester and Durk's former codefendants Kavon Grant and Keith Jones. All three men have pleaded guilty.

Shortly after Durk was arrested in October of 2024, rumors surfaced that Durk associate OTF Jam may have been instrumental in Durk getting popped by gathering information for the feds by wearing a wire.

In the government's opening statements, they called the case a story of revenge, accusing Durk of ordering a hit on Quando Rondo as retaliation for Quando's associate killing King Von in 2020. Durk's team pointed out that Kavon Grant has already admitted to being involved in the plot and ex*****on of the plan to kill Quando in August of 2022. They say there is no solid evidence connecting Durk to paying the men to carry out the 2022 shooting, which took the life of Quando's cousin.

The federal murder-for-hire trial of rapper Durk Banks, also known as Lil Durk, entered day three on Monday with prosecutors portraying him as the driving force behind an alleged revenge plot targeting rapper Quando Rondo, while his defense argued that Kavon Grant, was actually the mastermind behind the 2022 shooting that killed Rondo’s cousin.

Durk has pleaded not guilty. Prosecutors allege Durk orchestrated an attempt to kill Tyquian Terrel Bowman, aka Quando Rondo, as retaliation for the 2020 killing of Banks’ close friend and fellow rapper Dayvon Bennett, aka King Von. The Aug. 19, 2022, shooting near the Beverly Center instead killed Bowman’s cousin, Saviay’a “L*l Pab” Robinson.

The defense highlighted Grant’s close relationship with King Von. Grant and Bennett were cousins, and Goldberg told jurors they were exceptionally close. She said Grant managed Bennett’s finances, lived with him and shared a bank account with him. The defense also said Grant was present when Bennett was shot in 2020 and recounted what it described as one of Bennett’s final statements to Grant: “Why did you let me get shot?”

Banks is being tried alongside co-defendants Deandre Dontrell Wilson and David Brian Lindsey. Grant and Kacey “OTF Jam” Hester have pleaded guilty and are expected to testify for the prosecution.

. (DJUTV) - Early Sunday morning a man was found shot to death on the city’s Far South Side, police said.

The 25-year-old was found lying on the ground on 131st & Langley with a gunshot wound to the head around 3:40a.

He was taken to the University of Chicago hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

The victim has been identified as Devin Jones aka D-Money. RIP 🕊️

. (DJUTV) - Chicago Police have announced charges against a woman who ran over a motorcyclist while drunk off that damn b**r.

25-yr-old Miracle Hall is accused of ramming her car into a 49-yr-old woman who was riding her motorcycle on Lake Shore Dr. & Monroe causing the woman’s death.

The victim has been identified as Mehnoosh Hatam. She died at the hospital.

Miracle has been charged with 1 Felony count of aggravated DUI involving an accident & death, and 2 misdemeanor counts of DUI with blood alcohol level of 0.08. Several citations were also given to her.
