A gunshot was fired at a pro-Palestinian counter-protest for a Solidarity for Israel rally in Skokie, per Lincolnwood police. Pro-Palestine protestors and Chicago police were pepper sprayed, according to Skokie Police.

No one who wore the dress has gotten divorced!

A 1950 wedding gown has been worn by eight brides in one family. Bride Serena Stoneberg was the latest to wear it Aug. 5, 2022 Her grandmother bought the dress from Marshall Field's in Chicago.

The Niles Planning and Zoning Board on March 7 is scheduled to consider a special-use permit allowing Maryville Jen School to operate at 6935 Touhy Ave., the former Niles Elementary School South, located east of Milwaukee Avenue.

An alternative school associated with Maryville Academy is planning a move to a former Niles elementary school that two years ago was being considered for housing.
