Mixing another new .comerford tune today and we’re re-amping some backing vox through the Cordovox rotary cabinet. Kinda forgot how fun Leslie reamping is!

🎺 Earlier today laid down a fresh horn section for a new tune. Vid is Max laying down the top trumpet line over the bridge - horn section comprised of three trumpets and two trombone parts. Punchy! Used the ARP to write the arrangement and track demo parts for each voicing, then transcribed the parts & tracked!

Was excellent having in today tracking Emmons pedal steel on a few new songs - beautiful instrument and beautiful performances! Emmons double neck pedal steel > Princeton > Royer 121 > API 3124 > Distressor 💫

Another great day working on the fantastic new album that features the talents of ! Did basic tracking for two new songs (drums, guitar, vox), lead vox dubs on a few songs, and some fuzzy, flangey electric guitars!

Congrats on the ‘Been So Far’ single/video release!
I believe Adam and .govv tracked this in Z’s studio in his parent’s basement. By the time it made its way to SMagic for mixing/mastering it was sounding great and had ‘the vibe’.
It took minimal mix moves to make this thing pop - a bump here, a cut there. Set up a bus to our plate reverb and rode some faders on the way out. Generally just tried to let the song do its thing: all in all an excellent case in point for crafting a great tune and getting things right on the way in! Nice work, dudes. Psyched on how this one turned out.

Congrats to on the release of their new album ‘Tender Beast’! .
This was actually the very first project we started working on back when all we had was a handful of mics and stands, couple of preamps and not much else. .
Needless to say, we are thrilled to see this one out in the world and very happy with how it turned out!
