🏈 Florida just passed the “Teddy Bridgewater Act.”

After being suspended for using his own money to cover food and transportation for players at his alma mater, Teddy Bridgewater inspired change.

The Florida Senate unanimously approved a bill allowing K-12 coaches to use up to $15,000 of personal funds to support student-athletes — without being penalized.

Bridgewater, who coached at Miami Northwestern High School, was originally suspended under old FHSAA rules. Now, that generosity is protected.

Sometimes doing the right thing changes the rules. 💙

Have y’all heard of this sport yet?

It’s called Run It Straight — also known as the RUNIT Championship — and it started in Australia as a viral backyard challenge. Fast forward to early 2026, and it’s now a professional, highly controversial collision sport taking over social media.

The rules are wild and very simple:
Two heavyweight competitors line up at opposite ends of a lane. One holds the ball. They sprint full speed toward each other and collide. No dodging. No juking. One hit. The winner is usually whoever stays on their feet after impact.

Some people see it as raw, primal competition.
Others are questioning the safety and long-term effects.

So I’m curious — have you seen this yet?
