Last weekend, I had the opportunity to board Polaris for the company’s first ever stop in . I was already thrilled because it was the first time I’d been on the ship since my husband and I took it to Antarctica and eloped. But JUST LOOK at these absolutely gorgeous views of the city skyline from a tender and from the ship’s pool. Chicago is beautiful from any angle, but it’s a special kind of stunning from out on the lake. Be a part of Viking’s modern history in on a Great Lakes expedition itinerary. I’ve done one already and I promise you’ll love it. You can even take a submarine down into the lakes to explore (see third photo).

Who would have guessed one of ’s best brunches is not actually in the city at all, but right by O’Hare at in the ? Seriously the best chicken (see picture 2) I’ve had, and thank god for an eggs benny with ACTUAL MEAT (picture 3) and not disappointing Canadian bacon. What a great breakfast with .stegner.
