We’re officially one month away from the James Beard Awards 2026 ( ), and Chicago’s restaurant scene is once again part of the conversation.

The restaurant featured in Family Meal episode 2, Parachute HiFi ( ), comes from James Beard Award winners Beverly Kim ( ) and Johnny Clark ( ), whose impact on the city’s dining scene continues to grow.

It’s always exciting to see the talent coming out of Chicago, from nationally recognized chefs to the teams working behind the scenes.
