I had the opportunity to fly out to Colorado and shoot a music video for Skiimo for their upcoming album release. The video is officially out so I wanted to share some of my favorite shots from the shoot!

For this part of the song changing the pace of the footage with the tempo of the song is crucial. Showing the vibe transition in a song by going from slo-mo to fast motion on a tempo change will always feel cool to me. I love creating sequences like this and they always turn out to be sick in a music video!
Sony FX3 / 28-75mm Tamron / 23.97 FPS / 120 FPS / 1/50 / 1/250 / F11

I threw my wide angle lens onto my camera and set it on a tripod at max height. I loved the way these shots turned out and decided to use a flash cut transition to add some extra flare to the sequence.
Sony FX3 / 9mm Viltrox Wide Angle / 23.97 FPS / 1/50 / F11

We shot a lot of wide angle stationary shots but I also switched to stationary handheld shots too for a few full run throughs. The whip pan to each person for the outro ended up being my favorite shot of the whole shoot!
Sony FX3 / 9mm Viltrox Wide Angle / 28-75mm Tamron / 23.97 FPS / 1/50 / F11

With this being their self titled tape with Brysons dog Calvin as the cover we really wanted to incorporate him in the video. A lot of the shots of him are goofy add ins so having him balance a hot dog on his face was a funny shot to get. Transitioning back and forth on the tempo hits helped separate out the two sequences well!
