🎥 Saint John Paul II - A Pope who changed the world

Born as Karol Wojtyła in 1920, in Poland, he knew pain very early: he lost his mother, his brother and then his father. He lived the harsh reality of the N**i and communist regime, but never let hatred extinguish his faith.
At the age of 26 he was ordained a priest. His passion: bringing young people closer to Christ and defending the dignity of every human being. In 1978 he was elected Pope at only 58 years old: the first non-Italian in 455 years.
His message was always clear:
👉 “Don’t be afraid” - opening your heart to Christ transforms life and history.
🕊️ He fought for the freedom of peoples, promoted the end of communism in Europe, traveled more than any other Pope, created World Youth Day and tirelessly defended life and peace.
Even after suffering an attack in 1981, he forgave his aggressor. His life was a living testimony of the Gospel.
He died in 2005. Today the Church remembers him as a brave pastor and a saint of the modern world.

Nacido como Karol Wojtyła en 1920, en Polonia, conoció el dolor muy pronto: perdió a su madre, a su hermano y luego a su padre. Vivió la dura realidad del régimen n**i y comunista, pero nunca dejó que el odio extinguiera su fe.
A la edad de 26 años fue ordenado sacerdote. Su pasión: acercar a los jóvenes a Cristo y defender la dignidad de cada ser humano. En 1978 fue elegido Papa con solo 58 años: el primer no italiano en 455 años.
Su mensaje siempre fue claro:
👉 "No tengas miedo" - abrir tu corazón a Cristo transforma la vida y la historia.
🕊️ Luchó por la libertad de los pueblos, promovió el fin del comunismo en Europa, viajó más que cualquier otro Papa, creó el Día Mundial de la Juventud y defendió incansablemente la vida y la paz.
Incluso después de sufrir un ataque en 1981, perdonó a su agresor. Su vida fue un testimonio viviente del Evangelio.
Murió en 2005. Hoy la Iglesia lo recuerda como un pastor valiente y un santo del mundo moderno.
