So, I just started a video production course, and today’s lesson was all about camera settings. Specifically, why frames per second (FPS) matter so much—if you want that buttery-smooth slow motion, you need a higher frame rate. 🎥✨ I saw a perfect dandelion and thought: «This is it! My masterpiece.» I wanted to film it blowing away in epic slow-mo. I got the camera focused, held the flower with one hand, and started blowing... and nothing. The dandelion was like a rock! 🪨 I was huffing and puffing, the wind was blowing, but this flower was not budging! 😂
I kept walking down the street, still struggling and basically wrestling with this flower, when I spotted a guy at the bus stop who looked incredibly stylish btw. I just approached him and said, «Hey, can you help me with a shoot?» I explained the plan: I hold the camera and the flower, he blows from the side.
Long story short: it turned into a total circus! 🎪 This dandelion was the «tough nut» of the plant world. It wouldn’t give up after the 1st try, or even the 10th. We were both standing there, basically dying of laughter, trying to take down this one stubborn flower. It didn’t work out like the textbook said, but we definitely had a blast! 🌬️ Flower: 1, Us: 0 (but we won on vibes). By the way, the guy’s name is Greg and he’s absolutely amazing! 🔥🔥🔥
