New York City! Our TV pilot Cupid’s Chokehold is going through some fun rewrites and changes and we’re looking for some volunteer readers to bring the script to life and share their feedback.

This will not only be an opportunity to read the script, but potentially be part of the final product as we head into production next year.

Yesterday, our Creative Director of MFP Angel Sturdivant made her directorial debut!

Most of you know Angel as the queen who gets all of our social media content as an incredible 1st AD and we can say with confidence that she is an equally amazing director. We can’t wait for you to see the 4th short in our short series, Growth, both written and directed by her 💚

Shout out to this talented cast and crew for all of the support and hard work and thank you to Tiana Denine for letting us use your space to film 🫶🏾

Introducing the second short in our shorts series, Won’t They, about two former best friends who reconnect after five years of not seeing or talking to each other and address old feelings.
Written & directed by Mariana D.!

What inspired her to make this:
I wanted to write a will they, won’t they story where the answer was won’t they. I was also semi inspired by a song that made these two characters come into my head and create a whole history between them. I wanted this to show a right person wrong time kind of situation that shows that sometimes love may mean letting go.

We believe acting and improv classes should be accessible to everyone, so we are offering pay what you can classes. These are for anyone who is interested, you don’t have to be an actor and no previous experience is required!
