🗣️Council VOTED to kick Mayor OUT🚨

Former Chickamauga Mayor (Trey Deck) ousted with a 4-1 vote last night at the Chickamauga City Council Meeting room. All eyes and ears waited to hear the highly anticipated accusations of Mayor Deck for nearly a month ago. City attorneys played audio clips for public to hear in the room and on a projector with speakers on a ball field behind the civic center for the ones who couldn’t make it inside. The city was accusingly (Trey)Deck of sexual misconduct in the workplace and a racial slur being used on a phone recording of him talking to his dog.
The city council voted to go into executive session with a 4-1 vote, after the city attorney and Mayor Decks’ teams spoke for 45 minutes each.
After 20 Minutes behind closed doors, Rhonda Jacks(councilwoman) set the motion in action to remove Mayor Deck, and Lee Miller(councilman) seconded it.

Deck and his Legal team are scheduled to appear in a Walker County Superior Court hearing this Friday 13th.
