Our new coHost Doni Leigh is hosting the Peace and Justice Program tomorrow (Friday) Noon to One on your Community Radio station, KZFR.org/ 90.1FM. Her guest is LeAnn Jenswold, founder and captain of the 600 people strong ReSisters group in Chico. Natalie Hanson is tackling many issues of the Peace and Justice Program this Friday at noon on KZFR.org/90.1FM She'll discuss the s*x abuse scandal involving the fired Chico PD officer, then for much of the program discussing the human impacts of ICE detentions and detention center conditions on domestic violence survivors and local workers. Finally, she'll discuss the Chico City Council's exploring other locations and partners to manage alternative campsites for unhoused people as required under the current legal settlement.

Robert Suberi is a first generation son of Jewish Palestinian immigrants whose roots are in Yemen. He has family in Israel and has traveled to visit them frequently over the past 60 years. He's a Vietnam war veteran and president of the local chapter of Veterans For Peace in St. Louis. He's travelled almost yearly to the Palestinian villages of Masafer Yatta and he was kidnapped off the Handala Gaza Aid Flotilla boat last year by the IDF. We're going to discuss this horrible "peace plan" T and Bibi came up with as well as conditions in the West Bank on the Real Issue show on Wednesday, 6pm on KZFR.org/90.1FM substitute hosted by Chris Nelson.

Eran Zelnik hosts the Peace and Justice Program on KZFR (90.1FM) tomorrow (9/19) at Noon. His guest, Dr. Najm Yousefi is a colleague and they will be discussing Iran and Israel-Palestine. Dr. Yousefi teaches a variety of courses in history of the Middle East, Islamic history, and history of science. This kind of long form discussion is something you won't hear anywhere else other than KZFR and will be really informative. You can also listen in the archives for two weeks.

Angela McLaughlin hosts the Peace and Justice Program on Friday, 9/12. Her guest is Ryan Libre. He has had a long relationship of solidarity with the Kachin people in what is now Burma.
