Coming up on Tuesday, it's time for another edition of Frankly, Zappa on KZFR 90.1FM.

We will be focusing this episode on Ruth and Ian Underwood, husband and wife who were early original Mothers members. Ruth and Ian were both classically trained musicians in percussion, keyboard, horns and spent a few years with Frank before moving on- you may have heard Ian's compositions in some of your favorite movies.b

Tomorrow night it is time once again for Frankly, Zappa on KZFR 90.1FM

The real fans know that December is a special month- Frank's birthday was December 21st. He would have been 84 this year. He died on December 4, 1993.

Though best known for his wild rowdy and raunchy, sometimes controversial rock n roll and a few silly hits like Valley Girl Frank loved his classical music.

So we're doing a birthday special for Frank purely made up of some of his best orchestral music- all instrumental! Yellow Shark, Jazz from Hell, and more...

We'll also hear some clips from the senate hearings when Frank spoke out against censorship and the PMRC
