"People have asked how they can help the families of W**d & Shasta who lost their homes." via Chico Animal Shelter

People have asked how they can help the families of W**d & Shasta who lost their homes. Of the 140 homes lost, 120 had family pets. These homes lost are in addition to the tragic loss of the Shasta Sanctuary. Cats and dogs are displaced from their families and supplies are short.

We have two trucks going up next Thursday, Sept 25th, to deliver cat and dog animal supplies. Can you help?
Items needed:
Cat & Dog dry food
Cat & Dog wet food
Kitten & Puppy Food
Towels, bedding
Leashes, collars
Water bowls
And of course Monetary donations!

Drop off items:
Pawprints Thrift Store
1360 East 1st Ave (@ Longfellow) in Chico
Open Tues-Saturday 10-4pm, but volunteers will be there between those hours Sunday & Monday for donations.

PetSmart on a Forest Ave. in Chico
PetSmart on Hilltop Dr. in Redding

PetSmart in Chico has the ball rolling with 16 cases of litter and 5 bags of dog food from puppy to senior. What an awesome community we have! Donations need to be in by Wednesday night so we can coordinate vehicles. Every little bit helps!

we are planning a six course tasting menu paired with Japanese Microbrew

Next month in September, we are planning a six course tasting menu paired with Japanese Microbrew, Spanish Wines & of course Sake. The menu will likely be available only to customers who have made a reservation ahead of time. We anticipate selling this event out so make your reservations early. The event date is Wednesday September 22nd and will be available at selected times throughout the evening. The menu will be $75 per person including the alcohol pairings ($60 without alcohol). Call in for a reservation today.
