Due to the challenges with the federal government's suspension of SNAP benefits, the City of Chicopee will be organizing a food drive for local kitchens and pantries on Thursday, November 6th, from 1 to 4 PM in the City Hall parking lot. If there is inclement weather, the drive will be moved to the main entrance of City Hall.

The Easthampton Film Festival's Horror Highlights night is the FINAL night to see VESTIGES on the big screen.

Taking place on November 8, from 9-11 pm, VESTIGES will be screening alongside other short horror films screened across all four seasons of the Festival. A talkback will follow with some of our crew members!

Last Wednesday, the Chicopee Historical Society presented a very interesting topic just in time for Halloween: "Book of the Dead". Through a Chicopee physician, Dr. Samuel Fletcher's Coroner's Logbook, you get to see what the quality of life was in Chicopee from 1918-1932. His entries go over infant mortality rates, accidents relating to the industrialization era of Chicopee, and a look into a Christmas tragedy.

Thank you to the Chicopee Historical Society and Vice President Jacqueline Lynch for putting on this intriguing event!
