On behalf Leroy and crew, thank you for making our first 4th of July a huge success. Thank you to Shelby Bocanegra for inviting us to be apart of the festivities, and thank you to all of you wonderful passengers. Leroy was so so excited yesterday!!!! He was invited to be a surprise guest at Under the Son's Hands Daycare, and let me tell you, if a tractor could wiggle in excitement , he sure was!! Leroy and his trusty navigator Chris, went and shared a special visit with the kids and staff, the smiles and the happy faces were a blessing to both, we sure appreciate getting to share Leroy with others. Bringing small town togetherness back is our goal. Thank you to all who were there yesterday, Leroy and his crew were made to feel special. The look in a happiness in a child's eyes and their genuine smiles are a blessing!!

Ole Leroy woke with a start this morning, he realized October wasn't to many months away. Fred and Louise would be coming back with their shenanigans, and boy did Leroy remember the trouble Louise got him into by taking him out for a ride, she was driving with an "EXPIRED" license!! So, Leroy talked Chris into taking him to AFFORDABLE Bail Bonds, he needed to see how things worked. AFFORDABLE Bail Bonds is owned by Janie Orcutt, she has been in business since 1994, and services a big part of the panhandle, and her business slogan is, "We've Got the Key".
The local agent, here in Childress, is none other than Leroy's mom, Lora Cowan. So, after learning of his options. Woowee, Leroy kept telling his trusty navigator, Chris, how thirsTEA, he was, so, he and Chris went on a drink run. Those two adventurers made a beeline for HTeaO in Childress!! Oh man, they have so many flavors of tea that you can try a different flavor every day for a while, and if you like coffee, hot or cold, they have something to treat your taste buds too. They also carry a variety of refreshers and some of the best tasting water around. Don't forget to check out their other treats while you're there. So if you are looking for something to wet your whistle, head on out to HTeaO, you will be happy ya did. Tell them Leroy sent ya!!!

***LEROY'S SPOTLIGHT ***

Leroy talked his trusty navigator, Chris, in to a walk in the cool windy weather today. While on their walk about they ended up at Monson Music, and we are honored to spotlight Gerald Monson. Mr. Monson has been teaching and sharing his love of music here in Childress for 50 years!! He has taught everything from piano, guitar, ukulele, and fiddle, to giving singing lessons. The wonderful impact this gentleman has had on so many young lives is so far reaching and fantastic. He works tirelessly to mentor an teach each child who enters his studio. So, if you see Mr. Monson out and about town, stop, shake his hand and give him a warm smile. Thank you Mr. Monson, for the memories, the music and letting Leroy's, family be able to share it with one of their grands, as well as all the children who have been taught by you. You are truly a treasure to our community!!!!
