Who else loves that early morning river fog??

The last Raccoon Creek Outfitters tournament of the year was this past Saturday. We were finally able to fish local MOVING water. I caught fish on every profile I threw, including my favorite topwater bait from Chris Stassi Managed 9th place but caught a lot of fish. Congratulations to those who placed and moved on to fish on Sunday for the championship. I'm already looking forward to 2027 and actually fishing all the events next year!

First time ever fishing the Hocking River. 10th out of 26 anglers but still didn't catch a limit. Not pictured is a 20+ inch channel cat caught on a spinnerbait. Water was still dirty from the storms that went through this past Tuesday. It was a grind but the NuCanoe Unlimted powered by the Newport Vessels Nk180 HD did most of the heavy lifting. As always Raccoon Creek Outfitters put on an awesome event! Derek Constable Three C Fishin both got to experience the river for the first time today. We both agree that we will be back soon! We camped Friday night to be closer to the river and in doing so we got to sit around and talk fishing all evening and part of the night with some awesome people. Congratulations to those who finished in the money. Can't wait until the end of August!!
