🚧 Traffic Advisory 🚧

There will be asphalt grinding and paving operations beginning this evening. The affected areas are shown on the map.

Motorists should anticipate the following impacts:

• Significant traffic delays
• Traffic signals operating in flashing red
• Temporary traffic control measures
• Reduced travel lanes
• Restricted left and right turns
• Modified traffic patterns

Work Schedule:

• January 6, 2026, at 8:00 PM through January 7, 2026, at 8:00 PM
• January 9, 2026, at 8:00 PM through January 10, 2026, at 8:00 PM

Drivers are advised to plan accordingly, allow additional travel time, and use caution when traveling through the area.

Eastvale, Calif.—The Riverside County Sheriff’s Office, Jurupa Valley Station, conducted a Driving Under the Influence (DUI) / Driver’s License checkpoint on Friday, December 19, 2025. The checkpoint was on Schleisman Road and Archibald Avenue, between the hours of 8:00 PM and 2:00 AM. The checkpoint yielded the following results:

- 781 vehicles screened.
- 42 vehicles were subject to secondary screening.
- 1 arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol.
- 1 arrested for driving under the influence of drugs.
- 2 Field Sobriety Tests (FSTs) conducted.
- 4 citations issued for driving without a driver’s license.
- 1 vehicle was stored or impounded.

DUI checkpoint locations are determined based on reported incidents of impaired driving-related crashes. The primary purpose of DUI checkpoints is to promote public safety by taking suspected impaired drivers off roads.

Funding for this checkpoint was provided by a grant from the California Office of Traffic Safety, through the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

Yesterday, the Eastvale Special Enforcement Team responded to the Eastvale Gateway reference a robbery in progress. As deputies arrived, the suspect attempted to flee the area. SET members quickly contained the scene and apprehended the suspect without further incident.

The Riverside County Sheriff’s Office remains committed to protecting our community. The Eastvale Special Enforcement Team will continue to conduct proactive patrols at the Eastvale Gateway throughout the holiday season to ensure a safe environment for residents and visitors.
