*River Jams Karaoke is moving back to Thursday nights instead of Saturdays!

*A one-time Packers Party at River Jams! Including a Packers trivia game hosted by Haut Hosted Hijinks!

I will be hosting Karaoke at River Jams this Saturday Aug 22 starting at 8pm. This will be my last Saturday show outside so make sure you come out and sing me a song or two!

This past weekend I was hosting karaoke for a dinner crowd that had absolutely zero interest in singing. So I did what I do. I sang a few songs, dusted off some old Part Time Duo jokes, and when karaoke clearly wasn’t happening, switched gears and turned it into an unplanned round of Name That Tune trivia.

And somehow, the dinner crowd stayed much longer than expected. As one of the last tables was leaving, a woman came up to me and said, “I know we weren’t giving you much energy to work with, but you are incredibly entertaining. You have a great voice and such a fun energy. You kept us entertained without forcing anyone to do anything but enjoy the vibe. My friends and I really think you should be a lead singer in a band. You would be so much fun to watch and listen to in that setting.”

I thanked her for the incredibly kind compliment.

If only she knew….

WHEW! What a full week of shows! I’m officially off hosting duty until August 22!

⚠️ Fair warning: your feed is about to get a little Haut Hosted Hijinks-heavy this week as I roll out my fall events! Tonight, August 8th, I will be running Karaoke at 1917 on Lake Wissota! Come sing me some songs out by the water starting at 7pm!!!

Tonight will be my third event of the week but my first karaoke show of August! Come sing me some songs at the VFW on Starr in Eau Claire starting at 9pm! If you dont want to sing, that's ok, I am looking for a drinking partner tonight as well!
