First announced by Lionsgate back in May 2023, the official John Wick AAA video game is still very much alive — and it sounds huge. Here’s what we know so far:

🕹️ Big-Budget Action – Lionsgate says they’re working with a major studio to create a blockbuster-level experience, and it’s “not years away” from release.

🔫 Gun-Fu Gameplay – Expect fast-paced shooting, brutal hand-to-hand takedowns, and stylish cinematic combat that feels true to the films.

💻 Platforms – No confirmations yet, but it’s expected to drop on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

🎭 Keanu Reeves Rumors – Reports suggest Keanu could reprise his role via mocap and voice work (though Lionsgate hasn’t confirmed).

EA Games, the company behind popular video games like Madden & Battlefield, has been acquired by the SBIF & Jared Kushner’s Silver Lake for $55 Billion that will take the company private

It appears the EA Games creative and development team will stay in place

BioWare nearly skipped romances in Baldur’s Gate 2 because devs thought players only wanted to “fight s**t and battle dragons.” Luckily, David Gaider gave us the first iconic BioWare romances, setting the stage for Dragon Age, Mass Effect, and even Baldur’s Gate 3’s swoon-worthy storylines.
