April 26 - May 3rd 🐾

Our first trip of 2025, we spent a week camping at White River Campground, one we enjoyed visiting for the first time last year.

We were frequent trail walkers at Koteewi Park which is connected to the campground by the historic blue bridge. This was Novah’s favorite part of each day!

October 3-6th, 2024 🍁🤎

We traveled north to White River Campground in Cicero, IN! This campground quickly became one of our favorites and one we will take week long trips to in the future. The campsites are decent size, lots of shade, and connected to a great park that has many family friendly activities.

With the campground being connected to Koteewi Park there is lots to do from hiking, archery, horseback riding, fishing, white river canoeing/kayaking, and all is connected by a 3 part historical bridge to the campground.

This is a must try campground, not to mention all that the surrounding cities have to offer! Check our next post for the highlight reel of White River Campground!

September 18-22nd, 2024 🍁🤎

For Johnathan’s birthday, we explored the Grandpa’s Farm Campground in Richmond, IN! This campground was quite a surprise with all the attractions and beauty it holds. We found a huge children’s playground, livestock (goats and horses), two hiking trails, two suspension bridges, pool, arcade area, table tennis, creek passing, basketball court, sand volleyball, and lots of shaded area for walking. We even got in a round of tetherball!

We had such a great time meeting new campers; so much that we ended up having joint campfires and played a round of can-jam the frisbee game.

This campground is off of highway 227, therefore If you are a light sleeper this may cause some issues as it did us! Check our next post for the highlight reel of Grandpa’s Farm!

September 13-15th, 2024 🌳

This weekend we traveled to New Castle, IN to visit Cornerstone Campground and Retreat Center! A beautiful, quiet, family oriented campground. There was so much to offer from a cafe, arcade room, laundry services, huge children’s playground, beautiful lake, frisbee golf, life size chess, putt-putt course, swimming pool, and hot tub!

Additionally, this campground is family owned and Christian based with Sunday church services offered.

We loved our time spent at Cornerstone and expect to revisit for quick weekend trips. And of course, Novah loved her time there too! Our downside during this trip was our site had no shade, therefore next time we will select a different site with more shade. Other than that, we enjoyed our time there and meeting new campers! 🤎🍁

Meet Novah🐾

Our newest camping buddy! She is a 9 week old chocolate lab and mastered her first ever camping trip! She did a great job relaxing by the fire, taking many walks, and meeting new friends.

I’m sure there will be plenty more Novah posts in the future! 🩵

Our first camper outing took place at Starve Hollow SRA in Vallonia, Indiana. 🌲🏕️
Starve Hollow is our family’s number one camping location close to home and peaceful campground.

This campground was beautiful, quiet, and had lots of activities to do from biking, walking, hiking trails, fishing, kayaking, sand beach, visitor center, etc.

Our first camper - the 2021 Forest River Flagstaff 26FKBS! 🌿🪵

After camping with family for many years, we decided it was finally time to purchase our own and with our huge passion for camping, we wanted to document all our travels sharing the best memories as we travel across the United States. As we reside in Indiana, our main travels starting out will be throughout Indiana campgrounds but as time rolls on we will venture across many states! 🩵
