This morning, my teen son and my cousins teen son, called each other while getting ready for school. On speakerphone to have hands free, they talked about the Bible verses they read the night before. As I heard this conversation, I was filled with so much gratitude. So much that there are not good enough words to describe it. The adolescence that we lived, is worlds away from the one Jesus is blessing our kids with! His love is beyond comprehension and I could write a million poems and still not sufficiently tell of all the ways he is great!

For those of us with anxiety, going to the altar can be such a daunting task. Are people looking at me? What if I take too long because I have sooooo many things to talk to him about!? The enemy uses my anxieties to interrupt. But our Bible tells us we are not made in fear!!! God gives me the strength to overcome, I go every service, but sometimes my mind is unable to focus, and I can’t get my thoughts together. So make the air my Altar!

I wanted to draw something a few days ago, but felt uninspired. My super smart daughter suggested I should draw illustrations for my poems! I’m pretty sure she is a genius! 😂😆😜 ❤️❤️✝️✝️

Just over a year ago I was outside on my deck, thinking about Jesus and talking to him in my mind. I had just gone through a miscarriage as well as the passing of my person. I was praying for closeness to God and the healing that I know only he can provide. Suddenly this scene popped into my mind. Jesus was on a scaffolding in front of my heart, repairing it with true love, grace, understanding, kindness, and forgiveness…….
Fast foreword to a few days ago. I have been drawing a lot lately. I wondered if it was possible to draw a picture to represent what Jesus has done for me and to glorify him in that way? All of a sudden, I remembered this scene that I haven’t remembered in months. There is no better way to explain to anyone, in picture form, the biggest impact Jesus has had on this life for me. He has healed many things, but mostly my heart! He is the only healer of hearts, he is the only source of that power! I am so thankful, and I pray I never forget to praise him in everything I do. Thank you, Jesus! If you need healing, seek the healer!

I know my vision will never be perfect, but I am so thankful he has given me the ability to see all the things he shows me each day. Praying for God to guide my vision for the rest of my days..
More testimony because I'll never be done telling how great he is!

Maybe it rhymes, maybe it doesnt! :) Testimony, because what he did for me, he will do for you too!

I was reminded of this poem today. I had forgotten, as a lot of my poems are an emotional purge and I write to release the emotions. I wrote this last year, before I even had my "official" poetry signature.
