Another Cincinnati Pizza Week restaurant and another fabulous find! This was our first time trying Padrino Italian in Ft. Thomas, we had attempted last year but alas it was too busy to stop with a toddler who gets hangry too quickly. We got lucky to get there right before the rush because we are SO happy we got to try them!

Featured:

Pepperoni Gibroni: a thin crust pizza that is edge to edge with pepperoni both diced and cupped and perfectly crispy!

This pizza was sooooo delicious and the taste was anything but basic! The pizza sauce at Padrinos is definitely not from a jar and makes me curious about their pasta dishes!!!

We also got the cheesy bread and the chicken bacon ranch. Not on the pizza week special but we couldn’t leave without trying. The chicken bacon ranch was like a sandwich on pizza and tasted so fresh and well seasoned and the cheesy bread with their in house marinara was everything we could ask for in an appetizer.

We will definitely be back to try more of their food. From the service, the food, to the atmosphere this is the perfect spot for a nice family Italian meal or a date night.

Another Cincinnati Pizza Week stop! Tonight we went to The Works Pizza Covington and let me tell you we are soooo glad we stopped in! It was surprisingly not busy (and it really should be) because the food and service was fantastic.

Their pizza week specials are:

The Mac Attack: comfort food meet pizza! A creamy Mac and cheese on a golden crust with layers of cheese and bacon that is a creamy decadence! The Mac and cheese tastes like your favorite Mac and cheese on TOP of a pizza… like seriously this needs to be permanent!

Fresh Cinnamon Bites: bite sized fried dough topped with powdered sugar with a side of caramel and chocolate to dip. As someone who has been to New Orleans it tastes like a spin on beignets.

We also had a few drinks and some cheese curds (not pictured today). We can’t wait to return and we are excited to check out The Works when it comes to Union, Kentucky!

Definitely check this special out. You don’t want to miss out and heck the pizza is ONLY $10!!!!

Day 2 (for us) during Cincinnati Pizza Week! We ate at one of our favorite spots Bourbon House Pizza in Florence, Kentucky!

The Pizza week specials: Pepperoni Pizza and The Ranch, both 12 inches!

We also had to get their loaded potato pizza with their phenomenal ranch. Turns out it’s also wine Wednesday so we thought why not get a bottle of wine since it’s half priced? Every Wednesday you can get a bottle half priced.

Reminder: be patient during pizza week. These are small businesses and while Bourbon House is always hopping there may be an influx of more business (which is absolutely deserved) and there may be wait times. Treat everyone with respect and overall enjoy the delicious pizza, especially, at Bourbon House because they have NEVER disappointed and they always deliver amazing quality even at their busiest!
