7 years ago Vernard S. Fields came to me what a desire to start an organization that would mentor, train, and place black people in positions behind the camera. From this was born the Black Cincinnati Cinema Collective. We've gone on to see our members work on major feature films, International sporting events, corporate video and local television. Zachariah 4:10 says "Do not despise the day of Small beginnings." So blessed to hear our name mentioned among the other great and diverse film organizations here in Cincinnati. ✊🏿🎥🎬

7 years ago Vernard S. Fields approached me, Alphonzo Wesson, about forming, with him, an organization to mentor, train and help place African American filmmakers behind the camera professionally.
