Child S*x Offender
In December of 2024 a Child S*x Offender named Jajuon Lamont Poindexter moved to 180 Fairview BLVD Circleville, OH 43113. This house is located within 1000 Feet of the school property which is a violation of Ohio law 2950.034. I discovered this and contacted Sheriff Carpenter of the Pickaway County Sheriff’s office. He looked into it and then informed me that yes, the house is within the 1000 ft distance, but their system was incorrect and didn’t show the house as off limits. Carpenter then said he spoke with the city prosecutor Jayme Fountain, and she told him that she was not willing to take any action. According to Ohio law 2950.034 the prosecutor has the right to file an action for injunctive relief against the person. This would require the s*x offender to move. The right to file an action for injunctive relief is also available to any person living within the 1000-foot zone. I made multiple attempts to contact Jayme Fountain about the situation and she said her online system called “Offender watch” said he was outside the zone so she’s not going to take any action. I’ve told her that her system is WRONG, and the sheriff confirmed my statement. This house is in such a place that multiple children walk past the s*x offenders house to and from school. PLEASE contact Jayme Fountain or any city official in an attempt to get this matter taken seriously. Her contact information is [email protected] her phone number is (740)474-6066. We pay her to do her job. A private citizen who already pays her salary should not have to spend their own money in court when she could fix it herself. Remember she’s an elected official. She needs your vote to stay in office. Please share this post to spread awareness and call the prosecutor to get her to do her Job and protect our children.
