DEATH BY CONTENT?
Absolutely!
Whoever coined the term content marketing was obviously missing the most important point.
CONTENT IS A TOOL.
RELATIONSHIP IS THE ULTIMATE GOAL.
Some of my dearest friends in the entire world are a product of connecting on LinkedIn.
These relationships were developed authentically, first through engagement, next through DMs, and Zoom meetings, and ultimately by meeting each other face-to-face.
The confusion between content marketing and relationship marketing has filled the marketplace with providers pushing hammers (a tool) instead of offering the warmth and relationship that a home can offer (the real goal).
When we prioritize relationship as the real objective:
❤️You offer authentic connections.
❤️You build trust.
❤️You develop meaningful opportunities for collaboration.
❤️You may find friends for life.
