I finally got ALL of the tinctures labeled, counted and ready to go… and there are a whopping 163 JARS!! 🌿🙌

Okay, y’all… how many tincture jars do you think are on these shelves?! 🫣

I spent HOURS tonight labeling jars, organizing and trying to get everything ready… and somehow I’m still not finished 😂

I have so many tinctures that I haven’t even had a chance to tell you about yet, much less get listed on my page! I’m slowly working my way through them and I’m so excited to start sharing what each one is and why I chose to make it.

And thank you for being so patient with me while I’ve been organizing, labeling, creating listings and getting everything set up. There’s a whole lot happening behind the scenes over here! 🤎

I just came in from working in the apothecary and decided to sit outside for a little while and unwind before bed. The night is so peaceful and I’m crossing my fingers I catch a few really good ones!
I actually caught ONE while taking this picture!!
There’s just something special about slowing down, looking up and watching a sky full of stars.

IT’S MOVE IN DAY AT THE APOTHECARY!!! 🎉🙌

And this is just the FIRST load of half gallon jars! 🤭😳 Y’all… it’s happening!!!

I was up past MIDNIGHT getting all of the cabinets stained so I could spend this weekend moving everything in and I seriously can’t even explain how excited I am! 🥹

Seeing this little dream come together piece by piece is the BEST feeling. The Ivey Homestead Apothecary is becoming REAL, and my heart is so full! 🌿 🤍

It’s been a little quiet around here these past couple of months and I want to thank you all for your patience. We’ve been putting in lots of extra hours to finish the apothecary and tonight is a moment I’ve been dreaming about…

I’m making my very first pot of elderberry syrup in the new space!

I couldn’t be happier and I wanted elderberry syrup to be the very first thing I made because it’s where this journey all began. What started as making syrup for my family has grown into something so much bigger and I’m incredibly thankful for each of you who has supported Ivey Homestead along the way.

The cabinets aren’t quite finished yet, so I’ll share more photos once everything is stained and complete. But for now, I couldn’t wait to show you this fresh pot of elderberry syrup simmering on the stove in its new home!

As a thank you for sticking with me during all the construction and long days, I’m giving away several bottles of elderberry syrup! 🎉

✨ Mixer Update! ✨

Look what came today! 🙌🏼

I have to say, I have been overwhelmed by the kindness you’ve shown. So many of you reached out with advice, offered to let me borrow your mixer until I could replace mine and even sent me pictures of mixers for sale asking if they might have been the one that was stolen. That kind of love and support means more than you’ll ever know.

I’m so happy to share that Target replaced my mixer for free! What an incredible blessing. They absolutely didn’t have to do that and I’m beyond thankful for their kindness.

We also found out yesterday that on the very same day the mixer was stolen, the mini-split air conditioner Ryan had ordered was also delivered to our mailbox… and it was stolen too. That was another hard blow.

I’ll be honest, I have been angry, discouraged and disappointed over so many things lately that have been completely beyond my control. The past few weeks have felt like I’ve been in survival mode. If you’ve noticed I’ve been a little quiet or not as present, that’s why. I truly appreciate your patience.

My heart has been set on getting the apothecary finished, but it seems like every time we get close, another delay comes our way. I’m praying we’re finally turning a corner because I am so ready to get it completed and continue serving you all from a space we’ve worked so hard to build.

Thank you for your continued love, prayers, encouragement and support. You have carried us through more than you know and you’re the reason Ivey Homestead continues to grow. We love and appreciate every single one of you. ♥️🌿
