Long post, but a good one.

For the last two days, I’ve been going nonstop… honestly, more like two months, but these last two days really did me in. I haven’t taken the time to eat well, drink enough fluids, take breaks, get fresh air and I completely forgot to take my holy grail tincture: HOLY BASIL.
If you’ve ever asked me what I recommend for anxiety or stress, you already know my answer: HOLY BASIL. I swear by this tincture. I take it multiple times a day just to get through busy days and it has been my saving grace for years. It even helped me get off anxiety medication I was on for a while and my blood pressure medicine too.
Well… these last two days without holy basil finally caught up with me tonight.
I felt blah all day and really on edge 🫣. Ryan got the blood pressure cuff out and I decided to check mine.

The time on the cuff is off but here’s how it went:
• 7:07 pm – BP was 149/101
• I took 2 dropperfuls of holy basil and kept working in the apothecary
• 9:08 pm – BP was 154/89
• Took 2 more dropperfuls and kept going
• 10:31 pm – BP was 121/79

In just 3 1/2 hours, I felt normal again. Like a literal weight had been lifted off my chest.

I don’t often post about how my tinctures help me because I prefer others to share their own experiences but this one had to be shared tonight.

You can bet I won’t be forgetting my holy basil tincture again 💚🌿

More elderberry bottles are finally here! I’ve been waiting on these for weeks and while they were delayed I used jars to make sure your orders went out on time. Thank you so much for your patience. I know jars can be a little harder to pour from, but I didn’t want to hold up anyone’s order because of a shipping delay. The holidays really slowed things down, but I do my best to keep these bottles stocked at all times.

These two were busy finishing up the ceiling and sides of the apothecary tonight while I made another pot of elderberry syrup. Watching this space come together has my heart so full!
I’m stepping into 2026 feeling incredibly grateful and excited for the growth of our little homestead. None of this would be possible without you all. Thank you for your continued prayers, support, encouragement and patience through the growing pains—it truly means more than you know. 🌿♥️

Making another big pot of elderberry syrup today and it has me reminiscing about Christmases from my childhood. Our home was always filled with warm scents of cinnamon, apples and oranges. Those smells instantly take me back.
